¹⁰ When you march up to attack a city, make its people an offer of peace.

²¹ “Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you.

¹⁴ Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

³⁴ “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.

¹⁵ But if the unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace.
