²⁶ I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

⁴ We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

¹⁷ Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: ^[a] The old has gone, the new is here!
